Objective of the training: To equip the trainees with the basic knowledge and skills required for designing and undertaking effective baseline surveys and utilizing the results of the survey.

Contents:

• Basics of baseline survey (definition, baseline study types, when to conduct a baseline study, challenges, etc)
• Basics of a survey design (survey purpose and scope, sampling, questionnaire design, etc)
• Planning baseline survey (planning for data collection, data analysis, human resource, budget, logistics)
• Analyzing the collected data
• Reporting and utilizing baseline data
